Wonders Training!!!

Jo and I are attending Wonders Training today with Ka'ala Elementary School and Iliahi Elementary Schools.  Jo is attending grades 3-5 and I am attending grades K-2nd.  Lots of learning going on!!!

Beginning Teacher PLC #6!

Our next Beginning Teacher Professional Learning Community will take place on February 27th @3:00-5:00 Mililani Uka Elementary Room C-201.  We'll be chatting about Lesson Planning.

Ok, so we're looking for a platform where we can do online discussions.  Anyone know of any?  We have also set up an Edmodo account and are figuring out how it works and how it can help our program.  Stay tuned!!!

What a great afternoon!!!

Jo and I had such a great time dialoguing with our Central District Mentors this afternoon.  Talk about an intelligent, fun, committed bunch of educators!!!  On a Thursday afternoon they volunteered their time to analyze data, dialogue with colleagues, and work to make Kahikukala the best it can be. We had great discussions around the topics of:  Data, Program Standards, Beginning Teacher Growth Plans, and Analysis of Student Work.  We also brainstormed strategies to get everyone involved and active.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for an afternoon of learning!!!
